FIRST VISIT — Knowing The Patient
When Adrenal fatigue/IBS patient ,38 year old male first walked into the clinic, his expression was tired, his posture was heavy, and his symptoms scattered across different systems. This case was not straightforward. He described red rashes, persistent gut discomfort, hair thinning that had troubled him since adolescence, and a deep fatigue that had been draining him for months. His sleep was disturbed, his joints ached, and he had an unusual sensitivity to sound. He spoke quietly when he mentioned a single episode of bed-wetting—the kind of detail that reveals how much fear and frustration a patient carries.
For nearly a year, he had endured a persistent headache, one that conventional approaches had failed to resolve. He had undergone a recent hair transplant, was a non-smoker, consumed alcohol occasionally, and had already received B12 and D3 injections, along with routine investigations—blood tests, abdominal ultrasound, and chest X-ray.
Given the constellation of symptoms and the possibility of underlying infection or nutrient imbalance, he was started with an anti-parasitic protocol and set the immediate goal of improving his Vitamin B12 and D3 levels.
SECOND VISIT — Early Shifts
When he returned, I immediately noticed a difference in his demeanour. His face looked less tense, and he described meaningful improvements—reduced headaches, better sleep, less fatigue, and reduced sound sensitivity.
But his lab reports revealed a deeper biochemical story.
His homocysteine level was high, and free T3 was low. These values,, combined with his clinical picture, pointed toward adrenal fatigue—a system under chronic stress. To support him broadly, he was prescribed probiotics, multivitamins and gut cleanse aiming to stabilise his gut and metabolic stress.
THIRD VISIT — A Clear Turning Point
By the third visit, his progress was unmistakable.
His headaches had resolved, his energy had returned, and he reported no joint aches or pain. Watching a patient slowly regain vitality is one of the most rewarding parts of this profession.
FOURTH VISIT — Strengthening the Foundation
By the fourth visit, he appeared steadier and healthier. The major symptoms that dominated his first visit had faded.
To address the lingering gut imbalance and support hormonal regulation, I added Omega-3 supplementation and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. His treatment was no longer crisis-focused—it was restorative, aimed at reinforcing long-term stability.
